The Southwest Division had the first appearance as an independent group within the FREMO at the regional meeting of the hp2-Treff group from the 10/2 - 10/5/2008 in Altrip.
The layout:
The mainline went from the fiddle yard Alameda to the hub Lonepine. Directly after Lonepine the line diverged at Lonepine Jct. The mainline led thru Dorothy to Simonee and ended in the second fiddle yard San Michélle. The Branchline served the Interchange in Lonepine Jct. and led thru Hazzard County Interchange to the small yard Newark.
Operations:
Layout traffic was controlled by timetable and trainorder.
Steam ruled the first two timetables. While Challenger and Big Boy handled through traffic, smaller engines like Consolidations and Mikes became standard for Locals and Commuter.
The mainline schedule showed one Passenger, four Commuter, three Through and two Local in each direction. The branchline was served when required from Lonepine.
