FREMO US H0 in Denmark
FREMO US is a way to model American railways when you do not have the space at home. When you want to follow the prototype, modules are an neat solution. Build as much or as little as you want and have the space for at home and be part of a larger setup when we meet.
Danish member interest ranges from the Transition period - last generation steam and first generation diesel - to contemporary.
For the meetings a period and a location is agreed upon.
A common FREMO US standard has been agreed upon recently. The text for now is only in English and can be found here.
Usually a meeting is held in Denmark in the spring and one in the autumn. Photos and video clips from previous meetings can be found here.
In Denmark we do not have an actual formal structure. The members are spread all over the country and we attend meetings in Denmark and abroad. We do not have a US Stammtisch meeting, but primarily communication uses the Facebook page FREMO US Division Denmark. Here we share information on meetings and exchange tips and ideas. Mail groups have also been set up about the various meetings in Groups.Io for a more detailed planning and information on the individual meetings.
There is no general access to FREMO events, so if you are interested in what we do you can be invited by a member. You will find dates for future meetings in the calendar here. Then you can ask for an invitation in the Facebook group, and we will find a time for you to come by.
