Denmark
We are in the late 1980s somewhere in Denmark. The structure of the facility bears the stamp of the Danish one traffic, regardless of bridges and ferry operations.
On the main line between Rubjerg and Padby, the red IC trains and rushhourtrains run their regular service trips - many Danes travel between the big cities; Rubjerg – Vamrup - Padby.
DSB has introduced 2 hours of operation on IC trains and 4 hours of operation on rushhourtrains.
The Danes love traveling with IC trains and these trains often consist of up to 7-8 carriages.
In Vamdrup, the branch to the siding towards Løkstør also has its share of traffic. Here, smaller passenger trains transport travelers from the big cities via Vamdrup to Løkstør.
The passenger trains cross with the IC trains in Vamdrup.
On the freight side, a lot is happening on the Danish lines. The Danish stations receive and send a lot of goods to and from abroad. Freight trains run several times a day to and from these stations.
Post trains carry mail between Danish cities.
Interchangeable pallets and containers have made their entrance and these trains run directly from DK to abroad, often only with a change of driver in Padby.
Germany
South of the border, there is also good progress in freight and passenger traffic.
On main routes from Padby and southwards, long freight trains and colorful passenger trains run.
Large diesel locomotives pull the many trains on the German lines.
Likewise, on the German long-distance line, where the large station Burg am Stausee is located, passenger trains run for 2 hours. Freight trains also run here with the many goods.
International
Beautiful international trains bring travelers to or from trips. It is "in" to travel abroad.
Locomotive driver and shunting/construction of trains
German locomotive driver drives to Padby, and Danish locomotive driver drives to Padby.
Locomotive driver collects locomotives and shunts with wagons at almost all stations.
Shunting and construction of Danish trains takes place in Padby and German trains takes place in Varming.
