Gjerdrum:
FREMO-meeting at Ask, Gjerdum in Norway

”Skaarerbanens Venner” again has the pleasure to invite to FREMO-meeting, this time at a new location approx midway between Oslo and Gardermoen.

We meet at Gjerdrum Kulturhus in Ask, Gjerdrum, where we have an area of about 250m2 to our disposal.

Thema

We want modules and rolling stock to represent 1959 as closely as possible.

Theme for the meeting will be a main line in the Eastern part of Norway with branch lines and connection to Sweden. There will be both domestic and international traffic with connections via Sweden to Denmark and Europe.

We start on Thursday morning at 10.00 building the layout and continue until 23.00. We will aim to have everything built, tested and running by 23.00.

Friday morning starts at 9.00 with a short presentation of the layout and timetable and some practical information, after which we start the first session. Beginners will have a separate introduction.

Saturday starts at 9.00 and will continue until about 19:00. Sunday starts at 9:00 and continue until 14.00 when we will have a short de-briefing before we start dismantling the layout.

Rolling stock has to be equipped with RP25 or Finescale wheels, and all freight wagons should have a car card. We would like to have more Scandinavian and European freight wagons. The wagons must be equipped with wire couplings.
