In December 1981 the first edition of our association magazine Hp1 Modellbahn was published.

"Hp1, dear readers, was already the name for the old "Reichsbahn" main signal(and still is by the DB) in position 'Free ride'. 'Free ride' for the model should therefore imply the title of our magazine.

Free travel and activity-particularly for the creative aspect of our hobby, for model with meaningful, realistic operation. "

These were the opening lines of the time responsible editor Otto O. Kurbjuweit. There are now numerous issues published, usually created by members for members.
